Twine In
Make plans and meet people.
About the app
TwineIn is an app that allows you to reconnect with friends or connect with new people around you over activities you love - in a fast, fun, and easy way. So now you’ll never miss that game, movie, or concert because someone backed out last minute. TwineIn matches you with people who love doing the things you love.
Start by creating a 1:1 or a group plan depending on your mood, add a few details, and invite people to join you. Or go through a list of plans that people have created and tell them you're interested in joining them.
I wrote the UX copy of the app. This included
Splash and onboarding screens
Walkthrough screens
Error messages
Acknowledgment messages
Prompts
Placeholders
Description templates for users
Push notifications
I also crafted the app’s name on Google Play Store, wrote the Play Store display images copy, and the long Play Store app description using ASO.
Splash and Onboarding screens
The splash and onboarding screens are the most important because they set you up for what you’re about to experience on the app. I crafted the key offerings of Twine In into these screens. Wrote the headlines and the supporting copy for all of them.
Error and Information messages
I took a fun approach while writing the error messages and the information messages on the app. This allowed the app to have a quirky tone of voice and appeal to a young target audience.
Description templates
Whenever you create a plan on Twine In, it asks you to fill in a description on why someone should join you for it. People often find it hard to write these. And so the idea was to give them description templates for each event type so that the user could customise it or use it as it is.
I had fun writing these and saw them used by many people on the app.
Google Play Store
I wrote the Google Play Store images copy highlighting the key features of the app. Using ASO, I also crafted the display name of the app. And then wrote the long description as well.
