Butterflies Season 1
THE LAST CLUE is a short film I wrote along with my talented colleague Amrit Paul.
It is Episode #1 of TTT's three-episode mini-series BUTTERFLIES made in partnership with Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk. It stars the amazing Urvi Singh (Kota Factory) and Viren Vazirani (Aarya).
We made this during the pandemic after the restrictions were eased. The writing room was entirely in house with all of us doing feedback sessions and rewrites on Google Meet.
The film was shot with a minimum crew and I’m so happy that even in the pandemic we managed to pull this off.
It’s Zoey’s 16th birthday, and Samar seems to have forgotten. How can he, after all this time?! Growing up in the same housing complex, going to each other’s birthday parties as a kid? It’s a little different this time. They’re staying home, and they haven’t met in a while. And there may be newly blossoming feelings involved on either side... Did Samar forget, or is this birthday going to be the most memorable one?

Since the film's theme was a treasure hunt, I created an interactive treasure hunt that was hosted on TTT's Instagram page an hour before the film's announcement. The treasure hunt involved the actors' profiles and finally led to an early viewing link of the film.
It was a hugely successful activity and there were tons of comments on the film from people who'd played it and loved it.
