Love, Her - A Lettrs short film
Press Release - World Premiere of Movie “Love, Her”
I wrote and directed LOVE, HER which was our first brand film under my YouTube channel Weaver Films for the international app lettrs. "lettrs" is a writing app that emulates the long lost art of writing letters and connecting with people. It was the Google Play Best Android App of 2014.
Pre-production took around 4 months and we shot the entire film in 15 days.
The film was premiered at JWT in Manhattan and was screen in 20+ countries via the app. It eventually managed to get a lot more users to download the app.
Shreya Chaudhary who starred in the film went on to star in the Amazon Prime show Bandish Bandits.
A dedicated microsite was created. And a lot of press was done around the film including creating a special stamp collection using snapshots from the film. The stamps were used by writers on the app on their letters.
